Richard Tice has over 30 years experience in international real estate markets covering physical property, corporate activity, financing debt in both the quoted and unquoted sectors.

 

Between 1991 and 2006 he was joint CEO of the Sunley Group, a privately owned residential and commercial property company carrying out development and investment activity. After arranging a shareholder exit near the top of the market in 2006, he ran his own debt advisory business until late 2009. During 2009 he was actively involved in the takeover and restructuring of listed corporate debt of a FTSE 250 real estate company.

In early 2010 he joined CLS Holdings PLC, a London listed multi national property investment group with over £1 billion of assets. As its Chief Executive until early 2014, he led a strong period of growth, tripling the share price and acquiring over £200 million of assets near the bottom of the cycle. It was the top performing real estate share during his tenure and he led three innovative bond financings to help fund the group’s growth. He also led two major planning applications for over 1.5 million sq ft in Vauxhall, including for two 50 storey residential towers.
