Nick’s focus on asset management (including acquisition due diligence) and disposal of assets. He has over 30 years experience in commercial real estate investment and management, both on the opportunistic and value added side, as well as with institutional funds. From 1998 to 2005 Nick was a partner at Catalyst Capital, a UK based real estate investment and management company, where he built and ran its asset management team. From 2001 to 2003, Nick worked on the acquisition of £700m of UK shopping centres across four portfolios (including a public to private transaction), all of which he then managed and successfully sold before 2006. Nick also managed Catalyst’s earlier deals, involving approximately £350m of office portfolios and single assets located throughout the UK. Nick was responsible for driving the asset management of a range of industrial and distribution facilities purchased from the Welsh Development Agency. Nick left Catalyst in 2005, but returned as a consultant in 2006 and 2007 to assist in the management of the firm’s €275m German portfolio.

 

Before Catalyst (formerly known as Greenwich Group International), Nick spent nearly ten years as a Fund Manager with Royal Sun Alliance working in commercial real estate investment and management.

Nick has an honours degree in Land Management. He is a Professional Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a member of the British Council of Shopping Centres and the Investment Property Forum.
